We are seeking an organised and committed Inventory Planner to effectively manage logistics operations for our retail business.

The successful candidate will oversee the distribution process, ensuring that all goods are delivered on time and in an efficient manner.

Our client is a major retail enterprise, boasting a workforce of over 500 employees. With a strong presence in the UK market, they are renowned for their reliable product offerings and commitment to sustainable practices. They are within the Logistics Distribution and supply chain business based in Nailsea Bristol.

Description

The Supply Planner - 12 Month FTC will be responsible for;

  • Coordinating the distribution process for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Overseeing inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.
  • Implementing operational policies and guidelines to promote operational efficiency.
  • Managing logistics, warehouse, and transportation operations.
  • Analysing operational performance and resolving any issues.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and customers for timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations pertaining to distribution and logistics.

Profile

A successful Supply Planner - 12 Month FTC should have:

  • A degree in logistics, business administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a logistics management role, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Knowledge of logistics and distribution systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
