Job Title: Supervising Social Worker - Fostering
Length of assignment: 6 months
Hours per week:37 hours
Hourly rate:£28-£32ph - Umbrella
Location: Suffolk County Council
Remote/Office based: Hybrid working- visiting foster carers and working in the office. 2/3 days office based

Adoption and Fostering service; Short Term and Therapeutic Fostering Team (STF) - The purpose of the STF team and this social work role is about supporting and supervising foster carers to achieve the best for children in their care, so that they can grow up to be the best that they can be.

The team supervises fostering households offering short term, emergency, short break, and permanent foster placements supervises and supports fostering households offering short term, emergency, short break, and permanent foster placements ensuring the needs of Children in Care are promoted effectively through their foster carers.
