Structural Steel Design Engineer Position Overview

My client are currently looking for a Design Engineer with a background in Structural Steel who is looking to grow their skillset by training and growing into a niche industry. The company specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial burner and control systems and offers complete industrial ovens. This role will be suitable for someone who has experience in designing steel structures and full training for the industry will be provided.

Structural Steel Design Engineer Position Requirements

  • Experienced design engineer in lightweight structural steel
  • Experience using AutoCAD 2 & 3D
  • Based locally to Chesterton
  • Willing to learn and grow skillset in niche industry
  • Knowledgeable in reading engineering drawings

Structural Steel Design Engineer Position Remuneration

  • £30,000 salary to rise after probation
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Fuel card (to be used for travel to work and personal use on weekends etc)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Private medical insurance after 1 year service
  • Cycle to work scheme
