Street Cleansing Operative

Simple Recruitment are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative for our client working out of the Burnham on Sea / Berrow and Brean area to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Salary:

£11.79 per hour

What you will be doing:

• To carry out street cleansing operations across Somerset, to enhance and maintain the environment with little disruption to customers.
• Duties will include litter picking, hand sweeping, bin emptying, fly tip removal and toilet cleaning, as well as other reasonable duties.
• To be able to drive a non LGV vehicle and machinery as required in carrying out the above duties.
• To take reasonable steps to safeguard your own Health and Safety.
• To provide a quality level of service with minimum supervision.

What do you need to have:

The role requires candidates to hold a full driving licence as you will be driving to various sites across Somerset. You will enjoy working outdoors and be happy to work in any weather conditions. You will need to be physically fit, punctual, reliable and self-motivated.

Hours:

Wednesday to Sunday 6.00am - 2.30pm
