About the role…

Ubico Ltd requires experienced, enthusiastic, and well-motivated persons to carry out a wide range of street cleaning tasks within the Cotswold region.

The role will involve driving a range of vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes gross weight minimum and working with other street cleaning crews and vehicles in a team to clear areas where necessary.  Applicants must have a flexible approach to working hours and tasks allocated and to be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Some weekend working will be required in this role. All weekend working will be at enhanced rates  of pay.

Shift pattern:

October-March 06:00-14:00 Monday-Thursday with an earlier 13:30 finish time on Fridays. X1 4hr weekend morning shift to be worked per month on either Saturday or Sunday.

April-September 11:00-19:00 Thursday-Monday. (Rest days Tuesday-Wednesday) Additional payment will be available for this weekend working requirement.

Some of your daily tasks will be:

  • Undertaking visual daily checks of the vehicle before it is used to ensure that the vehicle is in good working order, including checking oil, water, tyres, lights and beacons.
  • To work with other street cleaning crews and vehicles in a team to clear areas where necessary.

You will need…

  • Full driving licence to be able to drive a range of vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes gross weight minimum
  • Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
  • Possess basic knowledge of vehicle, plant and machinery used for street cleaning activities.
  • Ability and experience of driving 7.5T HGV’s transit sized caged vehicle safely and make checks on vehicles
