Stores Supervisor required for permanent, full time role at a manufacturing company based in Clevedon, BS21. This is a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for the management of around 4 staff members across stores, goods in / dispatch department and QA.
  • Monday - Thursday 8:15 to 17:15, Fridays 8:30 to 13:00
  • £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Overtime paid after 38.5 hours worked per week, at x1.5 hourly rate.
  • Easily accessible by foot/cycling from within Clevedon or free parking on site
  • 33 days holiday per annum, plus 1 extra day for each complete year of service, up to 5 years

About the role
  • Train and mentor team members, including performing annual appraisals and regular 1 to 1's with team members.
  • Ensure there is forklift cover from 7am to 5:15pm Mon-Thu and 7am to 1pm Fri.
  • Attend weekly production meeting and monthly purchasing meeting.
  • Report monthly KPIs
  • To unload goods delivered and move them to their designated location in the warehouse, ensuring that all stock locations comply with Lean 5S.
  • To manage computerised stock control system
  • Completing quality inspection procedures of finished goods
The right candidate
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or team leader of a small team of operatives
  • Extensive background in warehousing, goods in/goods out, QA or manufacturing background
  • IT literate with good Microsoft Word / Excel skills
  • Counterbalance forklift licence
  • Excellent communication skills
