Job Duties:

  • Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and checking in stock
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust, and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
  • Assist in managing the warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly.
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a Stores environment
  • Counterbalance FLT Licence
  • Be able to lift and move stock
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible
  • Able to adapt to a varied role

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm
  • Friday 7am to 1pm
  • With the potential to move over to a late shift if required.
