Stores Assistant

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a major designer, manufacturer, and global provider of bespoke products used by the offshore Oil and Gas industry.

We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a highly organised Stores Assistant to join the team in Hoddesdon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a VNA truck to accurately locate, pick, and pack materials in racking to issue to Production.

You will accurately check received goods upon arrival, label as required and load and unload vehicles. You will assist with weekly inventory counts and monthly stock checks whilst working collaboratively with other areas of the business.

Requirements

• Proven experience within a warehouse / store's role.
• FLT / Reach truck experience.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy goods comfortably.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Highly proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude and a keen willingness to learn.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organised, flexible, and adaptable.

Benefits

• A competitive salary of £12 - £13 per hour
• An enhanced overtime rate of x1.33
• Working Hours: 7am-3.30pm Monday-Friday, with regular overtime to 5.30pm
