Store Person - Goods In And Out

Our client is looking for a Stores Person - Goods In&Out operative to join their team in the Basingstoke area.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Packing finished goods safely and securely ready for dispatch.
* Receiving all deliveries, comparing items received against items ordered and updating systems.
* Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies for goods received.
* Maintain stock housekeeping and organisation.
* Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of stock.
* Proactively preparing stock for production ready for relevant teams to work on.
* Moving goods around Stores into/out of racking areas.
* Operate a counterbalance forklift.

Ideally, you will have:
* Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to lift heavy items and stand on their feet for long hours
* Counterbalance forklift license, though training can be provided.
* Experience with Microsoft Excel & Word.
* Experience in the Automotive and Aerospace industry.

This is a Monday to Friday type of role, 40 hours per week.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 14:00 for which my client is willing to pay up to £13.00 per hour depending on experience.
