Mploy Staffing Solutions is looking for Stock Controller to work in large distribution centre based in Andover.

Working Times

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Salary

£27,640 - £28,820 per annum

The Job Role

We have a great career opportunity opening for a multi-skilled individual to develop their career in stock control. This is a demanding role and will suit the kind of personality that likes a challenging job with a lot of day to day variety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the daily Perpetual Inventory counts in pre allocated areas are completed daily and completed to the targets set per month, that accuracy is the main focus and any patterns developing are reported.
  • Ensure that all daily duties are completed within the time frame agreed and to the highest standard.
  • Minimise the level of damaged/out of date stock throughout the warehouse.
  • Investigate, organise and understand work/reports to maintain the smooth operation of the stock flow from Goods Inwards to Goods out.
  • To complete all reclassifications within a 24-hour period.
  • Attend daily team briefings with Stock Manager to discuss improvements, instruction/procedures to aid in the smooth daily operation.
  • Work closely with the WMS Analyst to ensure;

­ - The WMS is maintained accurately.

­ - Ensuring weights and dimensions data inputted onto Cubiscan is accurate and complete.

­ - Efficient stock consolidation is completed on a regular basis.

  • Ability to work within company policies and objectives.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors/clients to the warehouse.
  • Awareness of procedures regarding lift trucks.
  • Keeping your work area and the warehouse clean and tidy.
  • Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards.

Key Skills

  • A good level of general physical fitness is required - including being able to walk, stand, bend and lift for long periods of time.
  • An organised and methodical approach to work.
  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • Able to follow warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Attention to detail, able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a large, diverse team.
  • Able to maintain an awareness of their working environment and work to Health and Safety standards.
