Position: Static Gate Engineer

Location: Barrow in Furness (static site)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £30,000 to £39,000 subject to experience level. Plus, company van, 20 days holiday + bank holiday.

We are looking for an experienced Gate Engineer to join a growing company with a national presence in the automatic access industry.

This Engineer will be covering a very large static site in the Barrow in Furness area.

We are looking for an engineer who already has a strong background in dealing with planned, reactive maintenance as well as some installation of large electrical and mechanical gates. The right person for this position will already have experience as a Gate Engineer, they need to be able to deal with a variety of gates from different manufacturers and open to learning other disciplines including install and repair of CCTV and Access control systems.

This is for a static site Monday - Friday with no on call.

Requirements

  • Strong working background as a gate engineer
  • Based in commutable distance toBarrow in Furness
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Must have at least ayearworking experience.
  • Passion to grow with the company would be an advantage.
  • Willing to travel when needed.
  • Experience in both install and maintenance is a bonus.
  • CSCS Card preferred but not essential.
