We have opportunities for dayshift and nightshift Staff Nurses to join our Neurodisability Care Centre in Linlathen, Dundee. This role will involve assessing all aspects of residents’ care needs, providing health supervision and direct nursing care when required.
Linlathen is a specialist centre providing long term person centred care and support for adults with a brain injury or complex neurological condition, with particular expertise in the management of Huntington’s disease. We also support student nurses on placement and encourage our trained nurses to participate in the mentorship programme through Dundee University.
Your role will involve the administration of prescribed medicines and documenting the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines. You must ensure that you practice maximum integrity in all dealings with residents’ personal and financial affairs, and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship which exists with residents.
Within your role, you will also ensure staff contribute to the efficient running of the service. Ensuring residents’ care plans are completed and maintained accordingly. You will work in accordance to NMC Guidelines and Company policy.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills, a team player who believes in person centred care.
