We have a new opening for a Senior Programme Manager to join a dynamic and rapidly growing work environment. The role involves overseeing portfolio management of designated projects and market portfolio, ensuring the achievement of agreed objectives. Responsibilities include leading internal project teams, managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing programme/portfolio reporting, and providing mentorship to other team members.

Description

  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with customers across all levels to expand and drive future revenue.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on all aspects of the engagement.
  • Address and resolve any decisions that may jeopardize customer relationships, whether technical, operational, commercial, or related to programme delivery.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of large projects and/or portfolios, ensuring adherence to technical requirements, achievement of programme deliverables, cost and timing considerations, internal and external progress reporting, cash management and invoicing, as well as risk management and mitigation.
  • Continuously enhance and refine the programme delivery process within the organization.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure agreement on changes to scope or risk management through change management discussions with stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve areas of weakness or capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Provide event support as needed, potentially involving national or international travel.
  • Participate in annual Performance Management and Review Meetings, setting annual objectives and developing a Personal Development Plan (PDP).

Profile

  • Demonstrated success in leading the delivery of projects or programmes, particularly on large-scale initiatives or across multiple projects.
  • Proficient in maintaining timing and cost plans for projects.
  • Strong capabilities in commercial leadership and negotiation.
  • Skilled in influencing outcomes and building relationships with customers at a peer level.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments and excels under tight deadlines.
  • Embraces a servant leadership approach and maintains a proactive "can-do" mindset.
  • Adaptable to working with minimal structure and project management systems in place.
  • Experience in a start-up atmosphere is desirable.
