Location: South Nottinghamshire

Type: Full-time 8.30-4PM

Exciting Opportunity for a Primary School year 6 Sports Coach/ Learning Mentor

Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for sports and working with children? We are searching for an energetic and dedicated Primary School Sports Coach to inspire young minds and promote an active lifestyle!

We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive primary academy school committed to providing a well-rounded education for all students. The school believe in the power of sports to in still valuable life skills, encourage teamwork, and boost confidence among the students.

Responsibilities: As a Primary School year 6 Sports Coach, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging sports lessons for students in year 6
  • Fostering a love for physical activity and sportsmanship among children.
  • Organising and overseeing school sports events, including inter-school competitions.
  • Identifying and nurturing young talent while ensuring all students feel included and motivated.
  • Collaborating with teachers to integrate physical education into the curriculum.
  • Promoting a safe and respectful sporting environment.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A passion for working with children and promoting physical activity.
  • Knowledge of various sports and age-appropriate coaching techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications (if applicable).
  • Patience and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.

A daily pay of £85- £95 depending on experience

To join us and be successful in this Youth Worker role, we are looking for:
* Experienced Youth Workers or people with experience of working with children and young people
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks - we can assist you with this!
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
