Sponsorship Sales Manager

London (hybrid working).

Salary: Up to £50,000 + min 35K comms (uncapped).

We’re on the search for a #SAVVY B2B sales person with experience across exhibitions, conferences and sponsorship sales. Our client is a leading contract publisher who curated cross-platform media solutions on behalf of one of the largest property professional bodies in the UK. Whilst your primary focus will be maximising sponsor exposure, and maximising on revenue generation, you will also have the opportunity to cross-sell digital and content solutions!

What will this role include?

• Research and target potential sponsors and exhibitors to discover new business opportunities.

• Deliver persuasive sales presentations to both new and existing sponsors.

• Develop compelling sponsorship proposals that effectively convey the advantages of your product.

• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with current sponsors to foster long-term partnerships and encourage repeat business.

• Identify and propose new commercial opportunities aimed at generating additional revenue.

• Collaborate closely with the RICS events team to synchronize sponsorship activities with event logistics and content, ensuring seamless execution and a positive experience for sponsors.

• Uphold exceptional client satisfaction through the provision of top-notch service, timely responses, and solutions-oriented communication.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills,
  • Demonstrate the capacity to establish and sustain robust client relationships.
  • Sound grasp of sales fundamentals, encompassing questioning, pitching, objection handling, negotiating, and closing.
  • Possession of a strategic mindset, enabling the identification of growth opportunities and the formulation of effective sales strategies.
  • Creative thinking ability, coupled with a collaborative approach to working with event teams for the delivery of exceptional sponsorship packages.
  • Proactive in forward planning to meet targets and objectives effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, contributing to effective resolution in various situations.
