Specifications Technologist

Alma Personnel have partnered with their Worcestershire based client to recruit for an experienced Technologist specialising in specifications within the food manufacturing/processing industry.

You will need to have been working in the food industry and have a food safety certification, HACCAP level2/3 to be considered for this position as well have good knowledge of British retail consortium audit coupled with good manufacturing practices and leadership skills.

Carry out internal audits with the assistance of the Technical Manager, continued liaisons with all suppliers and dealing with key account suppliers.

Regular updating documentation ensuring compliance if regulatory documentation, whilst ensuring customer labelling policies are adhered to.

Inscribing of raw materials specifications and factory specs.

Shelf life analysis describing in detail using flow diagrams

All specifications are set on a daily basis, ensuring set up on all internal portals.

Customer visits where applicable to carry out third party audits

Follow up on any complaints issues.

Online retail systems experience would be and advantage.
