Specification Sales Manager - Tile Industry

Job Title: Specification Sales Manager - Tile Industry

Industry Sector: Tiles, Ceramics, Regional Housebuilders, Private Developers, Housing Developers, Tiling Contractors, Tile Fixers and Tile Installers

Area to be covered: North West & West Midlands - based North West

Remuneration: Up to £50,000 Neg. + 1% commission on all sales

Benefits: Fully expensed electric or hybrid car & full benefits

The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Tile Industry will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a distributed range of ceramic tiles into residential projects
  • Majority of your time will focus on winning specifications with regional housebuilders, private developers/ housing developers
  • Remainder of time selling into tile contractors
  • New business development role
  • Initial target circa £200,000-£250,000
  • Project sizes from £5,000-£100,000+
  • Winning quick projects with the tiling contractors whilst building relationships with the regional housebuilders, getting ceramic tiles specified on residential projects
  • Utilising your own network of housebuilder contacts where possible

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Tile Industry with:

  • A proven track record in housebuilder specification sales
  • Proven field sales experience in an associated industry to ceramic tiles, such as flooring, walls, other interior building products etc.
  • Open to most interior building product backgrounds
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven
  • Specific knowledge of ceramics is preferred
  • Specific contacts within regional housebuilders, private developers, tiling contractors advantageous
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent territory planning capability
