Specialist Radiographer

Our neuroradiology department provides the neuroimaging and neuro interventional service for the East of Scotland. We are seeking a motivated enthusiastic and conscientious radiographer to join our team. The post will provide an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop skills in all aspects of neuroradiography.

Imaging equipment in our current department includes a Siemens Axiom Artis DBA angiography system a GE 1.5T Discovery 450 MRI scanner and a Siemens Somatom Definition AS 128 Multi Detector CT scanner.

The neuroradiology department will be moving to a new purpose built facility in Autumn 2018 and will be co-joined with the paediatric radiology department. This post will support the move to the new site and will provide an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain experience on state of the art cross sectional scanners in both adult and paediatric settings including 3T and Intra Op MRI.

The successful applicants will be required to participate in the On Call rota.

Applicants should have relevant postgraduate experience.

Previous experience in CT/MRI or angiography would be an advantage.
