We are currently working with our client, a historic and well known golf club in the Cannock area of Staffordshire who are looking to strengthen their kitchen team with an experienced and passionate Sous Chef.
The golf club cater for an all day bar / snack menu and frequent functions for up to 150 guests. Functions can include private parties, tribute nights, gala dinners, celebrations and funerals.
The position of Sous chef will be working closely alongside the Head Chef to create new menu's, train junior staff, lead the kitchen in the Head Chef absence and maintain high food and cleaning standards at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Sous Chef experience and the ideal candidate will be able to create and cost new dishes. They will be a confident leader and will be used to catering for functions up to 150 guests.
It is desirable that you will have access to your own transport for this position due to the club's location, however staff accommodation may be provided for the right candidate.
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 (dependant on experience)
