Solutions Integration Engineer

Hutchison Ports has an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Integration Engineer to join the production department.

Location: Port of Felixstowe, UK

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

Solutions Integration Engineer – The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for an experience Solutions Integration Engineer has arisen to join us at The Port of Felixstowe, the largest deep-water Port in the UK. The role holder will have the opportunity to create design solutions that champion the customer requirements through the full product delivery lifecycle and get to witness first-hand how the product makes valued difference to operationally. The designs created would underpin the strategic imperative to modernise, centralise and standardise all systems to enable flexibility and scalability against future demands, whilst adhering to policies and procedures related to IT and following Health & Safety.

Solutions Integration Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

- Define integration strategies, methods and plan in accordance with agreed timescales

- Lead and champion customer workshops to native and mature understanding of technological options that could meet business challenges

- Translate complex requirements into simplified design solutions

- Design test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to requirements

- Work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure that work is completed within the agreed timescales

Solutions Integration Engineer – Who are we looking for

- Higher level educations (degree) and/or equivalent recognised vocational qualification preferable in an IT related subject

- Requirements management and solution designs that are security compliant

- Experience of managing a team in relation to a project

- Existing applications are written in VB.net so ability to understand this code and transcribe to JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, C#

- Full UK Driving Licence
