Role Overview: As part of the Group IT Enterprise Architecture function, the main objective is to align technology strategy with business objectives. Your role encompasses reviewing and governing solution architecture, defining strategic solutions, and maintaining design governance standards. You'll spearhead transformative initiatives across our global business units, ensuring consistency and alignment with our strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for architecture resources and activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables and governance.
• Define and govern solution architecture for key initiatives, facilitating communication and alignment with stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day architecture activities, including coordination across delivery teams and timely reporting on risks and dependencies.
• Act as the technical authority, ensuring alignment with approved architecture and overseeing architecture change throughout the program.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation and roadmaps to guide program implementation.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in enterprise and solution architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, BCS) and industry-standard frameworks.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft enterprise technologies.
• Expertise in integration architecture, including RESTful APIs and traditional approaches.
• Familiarity with CRM, HR, finance systems, and web/digital technologies.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Experience:

• Experience designing and developing cloud applications and integrations.
• Extensive experience in a technical or solution architect roles, preferably in complex, global environments.
• Background in insurance or financial services industry preferred.
• Knowledge of London Insurance Market concepts and regulatory environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade CRM, HR, finance systems, and data warehousing technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certification in Enterprise & Solution Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Archimate) preferred.
