Commercial Property Lawyer

Our well-established client is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor to join the team based at their Burgess Hill office.

Their Commercial Property team deal with all aspects of commercial real estate legal issues; including:

  • acquisitions and disposals;
  • commercial leasing;
  • asset management;
  • development; and
  • real estate elements of corporate/asset sales.

We act for landowners, landlords, tenants/occupiers, developers, local government, lenders and real estate professionals across the industry.

We are seeking applications from candidates who have relevant commercial property experience. In particular:

  • asset management work (including licences for alterations, licences to assign, deeds of surrender and agreements for lease);
  • negotiating leases (acting for both landlords and tenants);
  • ability to manage files from start to completion;
  • The successful candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrating initiative, as well as part of a team.

Salary will be subject to experience. The firm and department offers a good work-life balance and encourage paperless and agile methods of working.
