Software Tester

R13 Recruitment are excited to be working alongside an established financial services company in their search for an experienced Software Tester. You'll play a vital part in guaranteeing the reliability and functionality of our software products.

Based in Norwich this is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

• Efficiently developing and managing test cases from requirements.
• Executing test plans during software development, reporting defects as necessary.
• Commissioning new deployments and providing feedback as required.
• Contributing to the refinement of the company’s testing methodology.
• Analysing requirements and products to identify valid and invalid user journeys for test planning.
• Conducting exploratory testing and reporting any defects.
• Investigating service desk requests, ensuring valid issues are identified and recreation steps are documented for resolution and re-testing.

You will have/be

• Fantastic communication and relationship-building skills.
• The capability to comprehend complex issues and deconstruct them into logical steps.
• The ability to work under pressure and effectively solve problems.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Experience in multi-platform testing is desired.
• Experience of project planning tools and agile methodology is desired.
