Job Type: Full-time - Office based.
Location: Norwich
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our clients IT team as the quality gatekeeper for new development and maintenance upgrades. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to translate requirements into test cases and execute them, ensuring the software released is of the highest standard. This is an opportunity to be part of a passionate team and contribute to the evolution of our testing methodology.
Day to Day of the role:
Collaborate with the IT team to create and execute test cases.
Act as a quality gatekeeper for new development and maintenance upgrades.
Develop and mature the testing methodology, including standards, tools, and processes.
Work under pressure while maintaining a keen eye for detail and quality.
Contribute to a friendly and close-knit team environment.
Required Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills, including problem-solving, prioritising, and relationship building.
Ability to understand complex problems and break them down into logical steps.
Good team worker with the ability to work unsupervised.
Attention to detail is essential.
Desirable experience includes multi-platform testing, understanding of financial products and services, testing within an Agile development methodology, working with project planning tools, and experience or interest in automated testing techniques.
