Our client, a renowned global technology company specializing in electronic measurement solutions, is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer- L3 Protocol Specialist to join their dynamic team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of a longer-term collaboration.

This role presents a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, contributing to high-performance software solutions in a distributed, embedded hardware, and Windows environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in C++ and MS COM software analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Deliver customer-requested enhancements, engineering patches, or core product developments.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand requirements, investigate problems, and provide engineering input for solutions.
  • Assist in technical contributions to the pre/post-sales process as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Skills:

  • Experience in commercial full lifecycle software development, especially debugging and triage.
  • Practical knowledge of 5G, 4G, L3 protocols (RRC/NAS), C/C++/MS COM, and real-time operating systems.
  • Familiarity with standard source code management and defect tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
