We are working with an established, global organisation who are recognised specialists and leaders within their industry. With an international presence and a strong reputation in their sector, they are looking for a talented Mid-Senior .NET Developer to join their team based in Castleford.

As a Mid-Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing business-critical applications, working primarily with C#, .NET, WinForms and Blazor.

You'll be joining at an exciting time as the business continues its journey towards a fully .NET-based technology stack. Some existing applications are written in Delphi, so you'll have the opportunity to work with legacy systems while helping to modernise and migrate functionality into newer technologies.

This role would suit a confident, hands-on developer who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work and is comfortable working across different technologies.

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET

• Experience developing desktop applications using WinForms

• Knowledge or commercial experience with Blazor

• Experience maintaining, developing and improving existing applications

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks

• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to software development

• Ideally mid to senior-level experience

Nice to have:

• Previous experience working with Delphi

• Experience modernising or migrating legacy applications

• A willingness to learn and work with Delphi as part of the transition to .NET

Please note: Delphi experience is not essential! The client is happy to consider developers who are open to working with the technology while the migration to .NET continues.
