Our partner, one of the world's leading electronic options trading vendors, is looking for a

Software Developer C++, Data Engineer


Become our data guy: the one who oversees as data flows through our system and gets asked the difficult questions. Learn, develop and build tools that manage the daily data that makes an international electronic options trading firm tick: load the system with the data for the day in the morning, update as new information becomes available and unload the data at the end of the trading day: prepare for handover to Back Office and archival, post-mortem analytics. Manage our gigabytes of daily and terabytes of historical data to help us understand and monitor what’s going on.
Be in charge for a small set of large and legion of small tools to handle, move, archive, load, monitor, visualize, report, summarize, edit or manipulate data. Support our analysts and mine our data to come up with answers.
Be ready to jump into new challenges, be ready to engage business opportunities or help out in a pinch. A versatile programmer who is sharp as a knife and cuts through problems.


• A completed MSc in science, technology, engineering or mathematics or physics
• Excellent spoken and written English, ability to work in an international environment
• Strong C++ programming background
• Be comfortable to read and continue legacy code
• Familiar with C# or willing to learn
• Dedication to programming, pursue a career as programmer
• Excellent with SQL or other databases (distributed databases is a strong plus)

Required Technologies:

Multithreaded C++, TCP/IP, Windows or Linux experience, SQL

Optional Technologies:

C#, Linux, Windows, parallel programming, SQL or other databases, distributed or no-SQL/nuSQL databases, data mining, stream processing, reporting and visualization
