Position Overview: As a Software Design Engineer, you will be a key player in our manufacturing processes, leveraging your expertise in C++ to design and implement software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software into our clients high-tech manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Utilise C++ programming language to create efficient and reliable software systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug software-related issues, ensuring optimal performance.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with manufacturing equipment.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software development.
- 3+ years work experience within a similar role.
- Knowledge in C++ programming language.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with software-hardware integration in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
