Software Application Engineer - Derby - £45,000 to £50,000
4 day working week - Hybrid working (1 day in the office a week)


We are looking for a software Engineer to join our development team.

you will work on:
  • Real-time IOT devices over GPRS
  • Complex reporting systems with scheduling
  • Enterprise level native app projects
  • Rich data analysis and machine learning
  • Salesforce integration to back-office systems
  • Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
Technical Skills

Proficient in one of the following languages:

  • C#, Net development
  • Typescript/JavaScript
  • NoSQL such as MongoDB
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • HTML/CSS
  • GIT Source Control
  • JIRA
Desirable Skills (chance to learn)
  • Angular/React or other front-end frameworks
  • Agile development methodology
  • AWS, Kubernetes and/or Docker containerisation
  • Backend development in API/Microservices
Benefits
  • Remote working (1 day in the office per week)

Working options:

  • 2 contract options (38 hours per week)
    • 4 day working week - 8am-6pm with Monday or Friday off - 20 days annual leave + public holidays
    • 5 day working week - Flexi-time 9:30am-4:30pm core hours - 25 days annual leave + public holidays
