Social Media Manager - Travel and Tourism

Social Media Manager Job Purpose:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Media Manager to manage the social media channels of a market leading travel operator. My client is looking for someone to manage both the paid and organic social campaigns to sustain an engaging audience experience and build the company's brand presence. You will also develop a social media strategy and build subscribers to the brands social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube).

Social Media Manager Duties:

  • Grow the followers on the social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube)

  • Grow the engagement and reach of campaigns through Paid Search and Organic activities

  • Plan and execute a social media strategy for the brand

  • Understand the client's audience in order to develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers

  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate: engage with social media users and respond to any mentions.

  • Produce social media performance reports

  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

Social Media Manager Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of Marketing and Social Media including a track record of developing a social media stratergy. A background in Paid Social. Proofreading and Editing Skills, Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
