Senior IT Project Manager | £500 - £585 per day (depending on experience) | 6 Month Contract | Outside IR35 | Mainly remote - onsite once a fortnight Manchester/York | ASAP Start

My client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who is (ideally) immediately available and can take over a high profile EMV project. The successful candidate will be the face of the project and will understand the technology and political background of the Rail.
Extensions are expected.

Day to day role will include:

  1. Meetings with stakeholders and other regulatory bodies
  2. Internal assurance
  3. Orchestrating SMEs
  4. Being POC and face of the project

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Significant Rail/Transport experience (need to understand technology and political backdrop) - please ensure this is visible on CV or body of email!
  2. Positive relationships built with local Rail/Public Transport companies and bodies - please ensure this is visible on CV or body of email!
  3. EMV/NFC experience
  4. Personal and pleasantly pushy when necessary
  5. High EQ to thrive in a potentially political environment
