Skilled Gardeners/Dedicated Assistant Gardeners

Location: Penn, High Wycombe, Bucks

Salary range: £22k + per annum dependent on skills and experience

Permanent, Full Time (7.30am-4.00pm-some flexibility)

What are we looking for?

Are you a skilled and experienced gardener looking for a new challenge within a team environment. Would you enjoy the buzz of sharing your knowledge and expertise? Would you like the opportunity to work across a range of high-end gardens, taking responsibility for their development and improvement?

We are recruiting at all levels within our team and keen to hear from you if you have the gardening bug but as yet little experience. Do you have experience of gardening in your own garden or for friends and are now keen to learn how to bring this to a professional level?

If so, we have an opportunity to join our small busy team, managing gardens largely in and around South Buckinghamshire.

Cool Gardens are a well-established award-winning Design, Landscaping and Maintenance company, based in Penn, near High Wycombe. We’re now in our 21st year and have a loyal base of customers who trust us to keep their gardens looking pristine.

We have big ambitions to grow our business are looking for new team members to join us.

Is this for YOU?…

  • Are you skilled in shaping topiary?
  • Do you know how to prune roses and wisteria?
  • Do you have great plant knowledge that you are keen to share with others in the team?
  • Can you identify and control pests and diseases
  • Can you manage and develop a herbaceous border?
  • Can you select plants for the right places and suggest these for our clients?

For the assistant level….

  • Are you a reliable individual keen on working outside?
  • Are you up for a challenge, keen to learn, and a good team player?
  • Do you drive?

We are on a mission to become the garden maintenance team of choice for our own design and landscaping clients, as well as for the best and most prestigious gardens in Buckinghamshire. You will be joining a fun and diverse team working from our listed converted barn just outside Beaconsfield.
