This is a state-of-the-art food processing facility who are designing and developing cutting edge equipment, technologies and processes to deliver the best in class and most sustainable food to the global consumer market. They work with some of the leading FMCG retailers across the UK and Europe and their facility is purpose built and a truly modern engineering and technology showcase. Exceptionally well-funded and sporting sector leading technologies and processes, they are now in a state of extensive growth and increased technology development.

The Role
Due to extensive growth and expansion within the overall business, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead this technology driven food process development site based in Derbyshire. Reporting to the COO, the Site Operations Manager will have full site wide P&L responsibility for the facility which is a mixed operation combining commercial food production and research and development projects for the wider group, trialling both new technologies and processes prior to embedding them into the wider production network.

The Person
Ideally you will be a technology led operational leader from within a high care food production / processing organisation who has a passion and interest for developing technology and best in class production process. A degree in a technology or business related area would be advantageous as would exposure to food standards, health and safety legislation. You will be a leader of people and P&L and will be driven to deliver best in class and robust engineering solutions to drive performance across the wider group.
