Site Manager

Building & Construction

Worcester

£55,000-£65,000 plus car, bonus & package

Are you interested in working for an independently owned and growing midlands contractor?

We're after a Site Manager like you, who enjoys taking the reigns over a project and being able to focus on doing the do as opposed to paperwork and politics. This is very much a position where you'll have ownership over the delivery of a project and the ability to make your own decisions. The hiring company is an inclusive employer, who wants to empower you with all the tools you need to make decisions quickly for the benefit of the project and client. The first project you'll work on will be a £5m industrial unit in Worcester where you'll be site lead reporting into the operational management team.

The businesses you'll be joining are born out of some of the UKs largest contractors' directors who want to grow their own business. They're an independently owned main contractor with a turnover of £50m. The projects you can expect to work on will range from £5m to £30m in value so this project starting will be on the smaller side. You'll have genuine opportunity for progression here, all of the management staff have been in the industry for over 30 years plus so have excellent pedigree for delivering successful construction projects. If you're successful in this role, you could expect to be a contracts manager in the next 2-3 years.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have experience of working for a main contractor in an operational delivery role. This could be working on schools, hospitals, industrial or a wide range of sectors but it would be preferential if you have steel frame building experience. However, if you don't quite have that experience, feel free to pick up the phone to the Birmingham office to see if this could be suited to you.
