Site Engineer - £250 per day - Coventry - 14 months - Part time
Your new company
As Site Engineer you will be working with one of the UK's largest Main Contractors that specialise in the commercial sector overseeing the new build development and refurbishment of student accommodation complexes, care homes and hotels etc. They are a well-established, reputable contractor that offer consistent work, due to having a healthy number of projects in the pipeline. As a company they are continually striving to innovate by using offsite modular construction, alongside traditional build to complete a diverse range of projects, efficiently and to environmentally friendly standards.
Your new role
You will play a key role as Site Engineer on one of Coventry's largest student accommodation projects, consisting of 500+ self-contained units, from Groundworks stage through to handover. Your key responsibilities will involve checking that the Site Engineer's work is correct, setting out groundwork's using a Robotic Total Station, and liaising with the relevant parties on site, to ensure plans and drawings are accurate and meet the required standard.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be professional and efficient in completing works, in addition to having a high attention to detail, alongside the ability to find solutions to issues that arise. Preferably you will have experience in working on RC frames previously, and have extensive experience working on commercial developments. You must possess the following certifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering
