Your new company are a market leader in Civil Engineering and Quarry Materials based in the Greater Belfast Area. Currently seeking to employ at least two Site Engineers with civils experience this employer have an excellent portfolio of clients including airport operators, principal contractors in the highways, civil engineering construction sectors and public sector roads authorities. With a focus on quality and expertise this company are keen to secure two permanent Civil Site Engineers who pride themselves on these attributes.
Your new role
An opportunity has arisen for multiple Site Civil Engineers to join this Construction team for projects based across the UK. With multiple sites operational across Northern Ireland and Southern England, your new role will be to delivery projects on schedule and within budget, ensuring project performance targets are achieved. You will be tasked with Setting Out works using Total Station, GPS and dumpy level while providing information to assist with the construction of works. You will manage materials and reorder in a timely and efficient manner when required as well as effectively managing site employees and sub-contractors on site.
What you'll need to succeed
Suitable applicants will have experience on large scale civils projects ideally having worked on Highways, Airports and Civils Infrastructure projects.
Given the nature of projects you must be prepared to travel to projects throughout the UK
A Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Minimum of HND or equivalent standard) will be required.
You will be fully aware of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental processes within a civil engineering projects. Experienced in using GPS & Totalstation equipment as well as Auto Cad computer packages.
