This Chesterfield-based company with a national presence is seeking an engineer to work on a key site in the centre of Chesterfield.

The Role:

To carry out the installation, service and maintenance of the security systems as per the specification given per project to include mainly IP CCTV, Access Control, with some Intruder and Intercoms.

Full integration of systems, to be able to manage engineer assistants and sub-contract labour as to the necessary tasks to complete the works.

Working with Hikvision, Axis, Avigilon, Gallagher, Needap and Assa Abloy ARX to name a few.

Hours are 8 AM - 4.30 PM with an hour for lunch. 20 days holiday a year increasing by 1 each year until 25 days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the client/contractor as to the progress of the project and advise the project manager of any changes to the specification as directed by them.
• Work with the sub-contractors to ensure works have been completed.
• Work with the project manager and keep him updated on the progress of the project.
• Hand over the completed systems to the client/contractor with all necessary documentation.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled in correctly and received by the office on a weekly basis.

Remuneration

• £35k- £38k basic salary. Plus overtime, call out, standby allowance, travel time after 30 mins. Quarterly bonus, performance bonus. Overall earning potential £45k+ per year.
