SIEM Engineer, long term contract opportunity

I am looking to speak with security cleared SIAM Engineers regarding a unique job opportunity with a major Government client.

This one of a kind role offers long term job security and the opportunity to obtain DV clearance, enabling you to gain access to exclusive opportunities available for DV cleared Professionals only.

The initial contract duration is 1 year with potential for extension, based in Hereford.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• 3 + years professional experience supporting or developing IT infrastructure monitoring in a production environment using Elasticsearch technology
• experience with SIAM
• active/current security clearance minimum SC level and sole UK nationality and eligibility to attin DV clearance

Desirable skills/experience include:

• Hosting: Experience with hosting Elasticsearch in a Windows and Linux server environment.
• Visualisation: The creation of custom dashboards to meet business needs using KQL. This should include system and network status and environmental monitoring
• Authentication: Administration of user authentication through transfer of role-based access control from Active Directory.
• Custom applications and integrations: The creation of custom integrations to meet specific data ingest requirements.
• Linux OS: Experience with Linux based OS and its command line interface, network logging and analysis tools.
