this is an office-based role Monday to Friday Shipping & Logistics Co-ordinator job spec

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, duties to include (by no means exhaustive)

Entry of shipment details from various suppliers onto Navision (in house system).

Checking that the invoices match the relevant prices for each shipment.

Check packing slips match the qty advised on PO

Liaising with shipping agents to ensure that the latest information available for each shipment is on the system.

Checking the shipping agent’s online system(s) to ensure that all shipments are on our system.

Assisting with the input of customer returns onto the system.

Liaise with the buying team to update shipment dates against individual line on PO’s

Checking Commodity codes on inbound customs declaration and shipping invoices.

Filing documents electronically daily.

Booking in of deliveries with customers, confirming that they can facilitate the planned delivery.

Creation and maintaining of control spreadsheets and delivery schedules.

Production daily transmission of dispatches summary.

Ensure accurate data entry to the company’s database.

Liaison with our distribution agents.

To ensure that stock adjustments are authorized by the correct management.

Liaise with other members of the logistics team to ensure all shipments / deliveries are dealt with in
a timely manner; this includes stock orders for our internal use as well as direct shipments to our customers.

Liaising with various departments within the company to ensure accuracy of the data held in the company’s database.

Assisting with and prioritizing day to day issues with the Stock Control.
Various ad-hoc assignments that may occur from time to time.

Assisting Supply Chain Manager in general tasks.
