We're seeking an Operations Instructor to join our team at Faslane, Helensburgh. As an Operations Instructor, you will contribute to creating a safe and secure world through your pivotal role in delivering Ship Control training and providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) input.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Ship Control training to students of varying experience levels, ensuring adherence to prescribed standards and contractual requirements.
  • Provide SME input for technical change analysis and solution development, supporting Marine Training projects.
  • Collaborate with the Training Design team to maintain and update courseware for Ship Control Training (SCT) and operations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and provide expert support for the review and evaluation of technical data and notifications of change.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge and recent experience operating Submarine Ship Control systems.
  • Experience in Submarine Control Room management.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in training delivery, recent sea experience on Astute class submarines, DTc/DTTT qualification.
  • Qualification as an Operations Warrant Officer/Senior Rating with relevant experience in the Royal Navy Submarine Service.
  • Ability to achieve SC security clearance.
