SHEQ Manager

One of CRP Group's longest-serving Automotive clients is going through an exciting expansion phase. They are one of the leading manufacturers of specialist vehicles at the forefront of renewable energy transport.

Possessing some of the most advanced workshops in the industry, with leading technologies in design engineering the company has identified the need for a SHEQ Lead to help develop and contribute to achieving the company's growth.

As the SHEQ Manager, you will drive change in improving health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across the company's divisions.
One of the first tasks will be to build your own team and appoint x2 SHEQ inspectors to support you in implementing change.


Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the health, safety, environmental, and quality management system to ISO 9001 standard.
  • Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement such changes at each site as necessary.
  • Ensure the business remains legally compliant in all health, safety, environmental, and quality applicable legislation.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and direction of all SHEQ management/compliance issues ensuring all employees are aware of the importance of and follow safety protocols.
  • Improve the safety and quality culture across the group through key safety behaviors and behavioral management with employee engagement.

Essential

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Quality Assurance Training
  • Driving Licence to visit multiple sites

Ability to communicate and influence both internally and externally at all levels

Reporting to a Senior board member this important group role will allow you to put your own stamp on the position and develop yourself into a long standing member of the business
