Position Available: SHEQ Manager

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00hrs - 16:00hrs, 40 hours per week

Location: Hertford - Depot

Salary: £52,000

About the Role:

As a SHEQ Manager you will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with depot operations according to relevant laws and quality standards. Your role will encompass implementing, administering, and enforcing Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) policies, processes, and standards within the depot.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintenance of Safety, Health, Environmental, and quality systems in compliance
  • Ensuring depot facilities meet legal and insurance compliance requirements
  • Overseeing adherence to Health, Safety & Environment and Food Standards policies and standards by the depot management team
  • Providing guidance and training to ensure compliance with internal and external audits
  • Monitoring standards and highlighting areas of non-compliance for resolution
  • Coordinating Safety, Health, Environment, and Food Standards events and inductions
  • Collaborating with the Depot Management Team to identify and review compliance key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • Experience as a SHEQ Manager or similar role
  • NEBOSH - National General Certificate or equivalent
  • HACCP level 3 certification
  • Food Safety Level 3 (Or Equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in a fast-moving distribution environment
