We are currently seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our long term client to take charge of the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and servicing of a diverse range of print devices. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with equipment installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise strong technical troubleshooting skills to address a variety of technical issues.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams accurately to facilitate repairs.
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service to interact with clients effectively.
  • Address issues across all product ranges and provide feedback on training needs to the Technical Manager.
  • Demonstrate equipment functionality and provide customer training during installations.
  • Manage personal stock of relevant parts for quick and efficient service.
  • Identify sales leads and manage chargeable calls to contribute to business growth.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to continually improve service quality.
  • Attend relevant training courses to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in servicing and maintaining photocopier machines, particularly Ricoh, Xerox, or Epson.
  • Possess relevant certifications or qualifications in photocopier servicing.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety protocols.
  • Basic technical and PC skills.
