Service Engineer

Location: Swindon Branch - Full UK Driving Licence required

Self-Employed - earnings between £600-£700 per week

We are a leading and innovative home improvement company specialising in designing, manufacturing, and installing high-quality windows and doors.

Are you an experienced Service Engineer looking to join a well-established company? Due to company growth, we are looking for a self-employed Service Engineer to join the team.

The role:

  • Travelling to customers' homes or sites to resolve issues to a high standard.
  • Liaise with customers to understand and address their concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of snag reports, resolutions, and customer interactions.
  • Fixing roof & window leaks / damage to the external of units
  • General maintenance and repair of conservatories, windows & doors (Inc new Handles/Mechanisms/Hinges/Door Bolts etc)
  • Ordering parts and ensuring the correct parts are received prior to any job
  • Reporting any difficulties and service updates to the Installations Department,

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the window and door industry.
  • Strong knowledge of window and door installation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ideally located in Swin
  • Reliable, professional and hardworking
  • Awareness of health and safety and the need for safe methods of working.
