We are working with a well-respected and fas-growing IT support business who, due to their continued growth, are recruiting for a customer-focused, enthusiastic Service Desk Technician to join their team.

As a Service Desk Technician (Tier 1), you will be the first point of contact for all our clients on our Tier 1 Service Desk, providing professional and reliable technical support to valued clients.

IT Support (remote and on-site) responsibilities include:

  • Providing efficient and effective customer service to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Logging and managing incoming issues through our ITSM software.
  • Providing 1st line diagnosis and resolution with a high-level of first-time fixes.
  • Escalating complex problems to Tier 2 Service Desk Technicians.
  • Prioritising and managing your workload to meet client SLAs.
  • Coordinating with third parties to install, configure, and roll-out software.
  • Setting up and deploying new users, hardware, and software.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Documenting and updating records pertaining to supported networks and devices.

To excel in this role, you will have strong customer service skills, be organised, and possess strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills, along with:

  • Proven customer service experience via telephone/remote.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of working on a Service Desk within a Managed Service provider would behighly beneficial.
  • IT Troubleshooting experience also desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Salary: £23,654 - £25,779 dependant on experience
