IT Service Desk Analyst - 3 month contract - Edinburgh Hybrid working - Immediate start available

My client is a leading Charity in Edinburgh who are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join their busy Service Desk Team. You will play a crucial role in providing ongoing support for laptops / mobile devices for users across multiple sites in Scotland.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line support to users , troubleshooting technical issues related to Microsoft desktop, server, and M365 solutions.
  • Respond promptly to IT support requests, ensuring efficient resolution and minimal downtime for users.
  • Work closely with team members and escalate complex issues if required as well as follow up until these are resolved.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests using the designated ticketing system.
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of IT infrastructure projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience of supporting users both remotely and on-site.
  • Strong customer service focus, with a passion for providing high-quality support to users.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Desktop, Server, and M365 solutions as well as laptop / mobile devices.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites across Scotland as needed.

Hybrid working as part of a 3 day onsite / 2 off site pattern is available.
