Hays is proud to be supporting a major transformation programme within a local council's Customer Services team. Are you passionate about designing services that truly meet user needs? We're looking for a Service Designer to join our clients' Digital & Customer Services team and help shape the future of public services.
What You'll Do:
- Design end-to-end service journeys based on user needs and organisational goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prototype and test new service processes.
- Map service and user journeys to identify transformation opportunities.
- Contribute to service design standards and community development.
- Use data and user research to inform and iterate service designs.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of service design principles and user-centred design.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery.
- Ability to prototype in various formats and visualise service journeys.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in service design or a related field.
