Service Coordinator

  • Location: Oxford
  • Salary: £28k - £32k depending on experience
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Service Coordinator for our client to oversee service and maintenance operations, including appliance ordering and logging. The successful candidate will join their service team, managing service requests, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring customer issues are resolved promptly. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working within administration or office coordination.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Receive and process requests from customers via various communication channels.
  • Schedule appointments and dispatch technicians to customer locations.
  • Provide customers with updates on appointments and address any concerns or questions.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Director and Project Managers to ensure resource availability and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, appointments, and customer interactions.
  • Monitor orders placed by Design Teams, maintaining a log of all orders, delivery dates, and serial numbers.
  • Manage appliance stock, including re-allocations and returns, and make initial bookings for installation deliveries.
  • Act as a point of contact for appliance representatives, updating staff with stock availability and price changes.
  • Manage appliance servicing, spare part orders/claims, and kitchen servicing.
  • Handle booking of travel, accommodation requests, product, and internal training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, scheduling, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office; knowledge of CRM and ticketing systems is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
