Service Administrator

Full Time 40 Hours per week

Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Our Client is a growing family run business based in Wellingborough that specialise in providing commercial catering equipment support to a variety of corporate clients. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Service Administrator to join their established and successful team. Their business model is based on living their core values of credibility, honesty and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Sales Invoicing

  • Complete checks on all service and sales calls prior to invoicing.

  • Carry out all service and sales invoicing.

  • Check all supplier invoices ensuring accuracy, placing and managing queries as required.

  • Compile month end invoice documentation for clients.

  • Complete month end reports for all service and sales calls to ensure all information is received from suppliers and invoicing is completed.

  • To receive, resolve and respond to customer invoice queries.

  • To provide regular updates of status of the above tasks at team meetings.

    General Administration

  • Assist the service team with call logging and processing.

  • Provide support to finance team on routine tasks as required.

  • Complete purchase order processing for supplier invoices.

  • Any other tasks as requested to support the Service & Finance teams and business wide.

  • Complete all tasks in line with company deadlines and procedures.

    Skills & Abilities

  • Ideally with previous experience in a service administration role.

  • Strong communication skills, particularly telephone manner.

  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage own workloads and deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and an ability to flag issues/problems.

  • A willingness to work as part of a small team.

  • Proactive approach to work.

  • A flexible approach to the role and a willingness to take on new tasks as the business grows.
