We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable SEO Manager to join us and be part of a high-performing, fun, and, experienced Marketing team.
*Please note we can offer this role remotely, with travel required to our Kettering office monthly.
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As SEO Manager, reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy, across our 4 brands, including our flagship brand National Accident Helpline. Our online presence is extremely important and a key success of our business, your position will play a huge role in driving our business' growth and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DOING AS SEO MANAGER
• Design, implement, and monitor our SEO strategy across the brand portfolio.
• Collaborate with Design and Web colleagues to maximise CTL on organic landing pages through ongoing CRO.
• Work with PPC Manager to continually drive and deliver the optimum oneSERP, ensuring maximum volume and efficiency in our lower funnel channels.
• Partner with the web team to ensure we maintain excellent technical SEO performance and build on the high-performing website to maximise page position.
• Personally lead outreach efforts to build domain authority.
• Identify and track key SEO KPIs including page ranking, redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and technical performance indicators
• Generation and dissemination of management reporting to ensure that the wider team is aware of organic performance trends
• Prepare and present weekly reports for the business.
• Work with our brand and MI teams to identify our buyer persona to better target identified audiences.
• Work with the creative, campaign, content, and web team to deliver high performing pages and content.
• Recommend and analyse impact on organic from upper funnel marketing.
• Identify issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Recommend improvements in process and productivity optimisation.
• Collaborate with web developers and marketing team to deliver a road map of organic tactics.
• Stay constantly up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• 5 or more years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role client or agency side
• Proven success in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy.
• Expert web analytics and tracking skills including GA4.
• Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analysing data
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
